HATED SUBJECT TO FAVORITE SUBJECT

            

       

        When we say mathematics we think more about  numbers, formulas, equations, letters and many more. Mathematics is one of the subjects that is not easy to understand because when it comes to numbers especially to the formula some of us find it so very hard to understand. When we are in elementary we thought that math is only about numbers but we didn't know that when we go to higher level we will encounter different branches of mathematics like algebra, number theory, Statistics, Integral and other branches. When we are in grade 1, 2, 3 we only study basic mathematics like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, we thought that math is you only subtract, add, multiply and divide but we didn't know when we go to grade 4, 5, 6 we will see there the true meaning of math. Why did I say true meaning because there you will encounter the different kinds of mathematics and also the math there have a combination of numbers and letters which is even more make it difficulty to understand.

         Mathematics is one of the subjects that we will immediately encounter when we start studying. In this subject matter we will encounter more about numbers, problem solving, formulas and others. Mathematics is one of the hardest subjects in high school and elementary days. According to some of the students, math is their ultimate enemy when they go to school. But we cannot blame them because I also find mathematics as the hardest subject in my elementary and high school days. But as the times went by I didn't notice that I was enjoying myself when I was solving some mathematics equation. Mathematics makes my life challenging because when I was elementary I hated mathematics because it is related to numbers that it is not easy to understand. That is why I said to myself that when I go to college I will take the course of a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, I want to challenge myself more. So when my journey began in college as an educator student. First when I was in my first year I thought that I will only study basic math but now we immediately studied different kinds of math that makes me more challenging. At that time I tell myself if my decision to take this course is right. But I didn't give up right away I told myself that I will trust myself that I can do this. So as the times went by I realized that my hateful feeling towards math changed it to my favorite subject. Math becomes my strength when I go to school. That is why I always tell them that you can count on me when it comes to math because I love math.

            Over all before we hate something, we should first try to do it because it can help us to know if that thing is for us or not. I know that some of us didn't want some challenge in life but challenges can help us to love that specific thing. Like me when I challenge myself to take an education course that is major in math. First I hate it but because of my perseverance it turns out to be my favorite subject. So do not give up when you encounter some challenges in life.
